- Competition closed on 15 July, finalists will be announced on 1 August, winners will be announced on 15 August.
- Educators and parents may support students with their entries, but actual entries must be the work of students.
- Students or groups of students can make multiple entries.
- Winning entries of the posters must be able to supply the physical artefact, if required to do so.
- Scanned entries or digital photographs of entries must be uploaded to www.schooliscool.org.nz.
- If online access is not available, physical entries can be mailed to: Education Aotearoa, PO Box 466, Wellington.
- Upload video entries to YouTube and supply YouTube link when prompted at www.schooliscool.org.nz.
- Entrants must be enrolled in a New Zealand public primary school, or at a kindergarten or early childhood centre where at least one educator is a member of NZEI. Students must enter their work in the year category for which they are currently enrolled.
- In group entries, the entry must be entered into the year category of the oldest student.
- The winners will be selected by the judges, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into following their decision.
- NZEI has no responsibility or liability for lost, late, or misdirected entries or prizes.
- Prizes will be couriered to winners. Winners will be notified by email. Any personal information collected will be held by NZEI.
- Entry constitutes consent for NZEI to use names and/or photographs of entrants and their work for promotion and publicity purposes.
- As permitted by law, NZEI will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss of damage whatsoever, including personal injury which is suffered as a result of, or arising from person(s) participating in the promotion or in connection with winning a prize.
- NZEI reserves the right to change these terms or cancel the competition.
- By entering, you are deemed to accept these terms.
